I wrote a tornado rap.

23 May

This is my first rap. Judging by the awesomeness of this one that I wrote in approximately 1.47 minutes, you can expect more to come. (Yes, I know the syllables don’t match and some of the words don’t rhyme. I’ll fix it before I send it to Eminem, okay?)

We got updrafts, rain wraps, hook echoes and spin-ups.

We got storm chasers, twister racers, dry lines and low pressure areas.

We got fourteen different colors on our weather map and you better start watchin’ when ya hear that  thunder clap.

We don’t worry, we don’t hurry cause we got cellars, fraidy holes, cement rooms, sirens and ditches.

Put  the babies in the tub and cover  ‘em with a mattress.                                           And stay away from them West. Facin’. Windas.

We got wall clouds and supercells, mesocyclones and funnels.                         Wait-is that debris?

She’s on the ground so get ready for a freight train sound.

Grab a ditch, grab a sapling but get outta that car.

Here comes some basketball hail and sideways rain, we got green skies but we ain’t afraid.

We know Uncle Gary’ll keep us safe cause he’s got the MOAR. That’s Mother. Of.  All. Radar., y’all.

Word to your meteorologist.
